Temporary Housing Initiative
The unit oversees the provision of temporary housing for low-income persons who lost their homes in the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan in late 2004. It also supports the personal and professional development of its adult clients and offers extracurricular programmes for their children.

Mission statement:
The Temporary Homes Programme (THP) exists to provide temporary homes to clients while helping them access the services that they need to secure and maintain permanent accommodations. In addition, while working with individuals in this way, the unit commits to recognising other areas where those persons' lives can be improved and assisting them with that.
